1. The Courage to Say ‘Yes’

OMG! Is this cool or should I say hot? I have been wanting to write a book for the past decade. Nice dream, but no courage to do anything about it. To be fair, no clue on how to go about it either. And then, I started hoping something would flow through as I typed on my keyboard. I must have typed about 3 to 4 pages and then got stuck. On listening to what I had written, it sounded like thoughts without a beginning or end. Does this sound familiar?

Recently, I came across a free 7-day writing challenge from Hay House Publishing. I have always been a big fan of Louise Hay and Hay House Publishing. Hence, I have signed up for their emails. This email with the information of the 7-day challenge pinged into my inbox and egged me to go for it. So, I did. I learnt a lot about the basic habits one has to create and adhere to. One of them is to get on to social media. I have no idea on how to go about it. I have a Facebook account that I had signed up for fifteen years ago but life is a lot different now. For one thing, I have very little sight left so it is a struggle to just click and create something interesting which was a doddle some years ago in the lifetime of being a graphic designer and then a museum exhibition designer.

But, all is not lost. When I decided that I was going to learn and do something about blogging, an Earth Angel or should I say a Digital Angel contacted me out of the blue and agreed to help me get started. Never say that the Universe won’t help us once we take some action and have the courage to say ‘yes’.
