
On waking every morning, I find myself checking how I feel. Am I looking forward to the day…unsure… or filled with anxiety? Then with a smile I ask myself, what kind of day do I want to have. This allows me to move into a space of choice. I wonder how many of us realise that it can be this simple to aspire to have the kind of day we would like to have.
There is enough evidence to suggest that we are wired to consistently entangle with negative thought patterns. Undoubtedly this drains us of our precious energy, resulting in poor judgements and decisions. When we decide to live in hope, expecting positive outcomes, we feel vitalised, confident and filled with energy that outlasts the day. When a thought is produced by the same energetic biological chemistry, wouldn’t it be preferable to choose the option of extending our life’s energy so that we can achieve more?
I have heard the argument that it is better to be prepared for the worst than to be caught out. Really!? My counter thought is that a half empty glass holds the same amount of water as the half full one! Even if there is a fifty-fifty chance of things going wrong, there is an equal chance of everything working out. Living in the belief that whatever occurs, it is always for my greater good, is life affirming. By setting the intention that life only brings what is best for me, becomes my North Star – guiding my life and creating many more happy outcomes.
I firmly believe that always expecting that all will be well, gets the most positive outcomes. Creating positive vibes attracts positive results. Be happy always
