56. Emerging Clarity

Having lived through a period of confusion, chaos and despair within the ever-changing global terrain, I can finally glimpse glimmers of a few silver linings. Whilst focusing and reflecting on my inner turmoil through this time, my insights have been allowed to percolate and develop. It occurs to me, that when we see only the hardships and challenges, we miss the growth that is emerging at the same time … like the phoenix rising from the ashes of destruction signalling a new beginning.

For decades if not longer, haven’t we all noticed how so many global systems like money, health, technology, governance etc, have been controlled by a very few powerful people? This uneven distribution of resources and unbalanced disparity of power is inappropriate in its nature. With revelations after revelations of corrupt and unethical behaviour within our infrastructures, inevitably we have to bear witness to the unfolding drama of its demise.

My perception is that this breakdown of everything is a necessary step in the process of our greater evolution. Becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable (instead of avoiding it!), forces us to evolve new systems, that are more appropriate for our times. This ‘new normal’ is already occurring under the radar, in various parts of the world. Once the fog of chaos lifts, we will discover the evidence of a different dawn, though it may take some time for us to recognise its emerging form!
